See Your Donations at Work
The Skagit Fairgrounds Foundation was established in April of 2024. Each project we commit to has been agreed upon by the board members of the Skagit County Fairgrounds Foundation and is believed to benefit multiple groups of people who use the Fairgrounds year-round. Anyone who uses the Fairgrounds is welcome to submit a request for donation such as Barn Superintendents, Exhibitors, and events coordinators.
Since our fundraising efforts have just begun, our list of completed projects is small. However, we have big dreams for the future and have already put plans in place to show the community what the Foundation can do!
2024 Projects
- Committed to donate $2,000 to the 2024 Skagit County Fair. This money will be used to raise the Fair Premium Pool, which is the prize money paid out to exhibitors at the Fair, by 14% compared to 2023.
- Help fund the remaining cost of fixing the cement floor of the Rabbit/Cavi/Cat building.
- Helped fund the paving of the Goat Barn.
Future Projects
- Fund maintenance projects around the Fairgrounds to fix the buildings that are over 50 years old.
